What
is the Volunteer Management Forum (VMF)
The
Volunteer Management Forum (VMF) aims to bring together voluntary
organisations working with or interested in working with volunteers
in the borough.
It
aims to share experiences and ideas, developing networks and
enhance volunteer programmes through training and updates
on best practice and issues facing the sector.
"I
have found the networking I do with his group better than
any other I belong to - something to do with the informal
friendly atmosphere you set." (Forum member
feedback)
Why
Attend?
If
you haven’t been to the Southwark VMF before, it is
a great chance to meet other people working with volunteers
and look at different aspects of involving volunteers and
good practice. It is also a chance to see what is going on
in the borough, meet other people, find out about new developments,
and what services are open to you. There is also an opportunity
to get a free good practice guide from Volunteer Centre Southwark
and there is also an Agony Uncle session for any of your volunteer
issues. At the end of the forum there is an optional free
lunch which is a great networking opportunity.
Previous

from organisations that are of interests to members including
Law works, Timebank and Accreditation for Volunteers.
