from Southwark Community Care Forum (SCCF) and Southwark
Action for Voluntary Organisations (SAVO)
SCCF
commits itself to changing its name to Community Action
Southwark and to changing its constitution to allow
it to carry out the full functions of a CVS.
From
1 October 2007 to 31 March 2008 SCCF and SAVO commit
themselves to joint working as follows:
Bi-monthly meetings of the joint trustees
Monthly joint staff meetings
Bringing together the two sets of capacity building
staff to consider future work and funding
Developing a joint database of voluntary and community
organisations based on SCCF’s Signpost facility
Producing a joint newsletter
Considering together the best use of the 8th Floor at
Hannibal House
Preparing one bid for the new Southwark Council single
commissioned contract
Jointly investigating and developing other fundraising
opportunities
Subject
to financial considerations being satisfied SAVO staff
will transfer under TUPE to SCCF and SCCF will consider
taking on a lease for the whole of the eighth floor
at Hannibal House.
On
1 April 2008 SAVO will wind up as a company provided
it has resolved its current legal case.
