The Investors in People Standard is a framework of good
practice to ensure that people in an organisation have
the right knowledge, skills and motivation to work efficently.

There are three processes to investing in people which are
followed in a continous cycle: review, plan
and do.
Review:
an Investor in People can demonstrate the impact of its investment
in people on the performance of the organisation
Plan: an Investor in People develops strategies
to improve the performance of the organisation through its
people.
Do: an Investor in People takes effective
action to improve the performance of the organisation through
its people
