About
Volunteer Centre Southwark
Volunteer
Centre Southwark
is the local volunteer development agency based in the London Borough
of Southwark.
It
was set up in early 1995 in response to local community activity.
Over
the years we have grown into a local agency which links people who
want to volunteer with organisations needing volunteer help, as
well as offering a number of different services to volunteers, organisations
and
businesses.
We can give help and advice on how to access volunteering opportunities
and put you in contact with organisations that may be of interest.
We work closely with organisations to provide a better service to
meet volunteering needs.
We provide information and training on recruitment, management and
support of volunteers.
We have a resource library which has information on national and
local issues affecting the use of volunteers.
Volunteer Centre Southwark
actively
encourages and promotes volunteering in the London Borough of Southwark.
