Free 'Get Involved!' Workshops

Want to find out more about a specific area of getting invoved in the Camberwell community? Have a look at our workshop schedule and come along to as many as you want. We have sessions during the day and evenings. No need to book, just turn up! Free refreshments!!

Art in Camberwell

Come and learn more about the artistic scene in Camberwell and discover ways you can help brighten up your neighbourhood. There will be various members of the Camberwell artistic community in attendance, providing advice and support on how you can volunteer in artistic projects.

Work Experience through Volunteering

Want to make yourself more employable? Come and hear how we can support and deliver voluntary work experience placements to equip you with the confidence and job skills to enable you to get into work. We work with a wide range of 3rd party organisations in Camberwell and across Southwark that host volunteers, providing an extremely valuable addition to your CV.

Monday 15th March 1:30-3pm or Wednesday 31st March 6:30-8pm


Volunteering with Young People

If you are looking to help work towards bettering the lives of young people in Camberwell come along to one of these workshops to gain a greater understanding of the options you have to get involved. There will be various organisations working with young people in attendance with oportunities on how you can get involved with them.

Speak Up in Camberwell!

Do you care about whats going on in Camberwell? Do you want to voice your opinion on how to improve the area? Then come along an learn about all the events and organisations that need people like you to help make great things happen in Camberwell. We will also be giving information on how you can train to become a councillor and stand in your local eleclection!

Better the Camberwell Environment

Would you like to make Camberwell a more attractive place to live and work? There are a number of environmental community groups in Camberwell looking for volunteers to help. From helping out in the park to influencing decisions over revitalisation of community areas, there are many ways you can get involved. Come along to one of our talks and meet the people that want to help get you involved in improving your local environment.

How to become a Magistrate

Do you have a sound judgement and strong sense of personal integrity? Do you have a sound knowledge and passion for Camberwell? Yes? Then come and find out how you can train to become a court Magistrate. You will become a integral part of the legal system at Camberwell Magistrates Court. No prior experience needed! Support for Groups and Organisations involving Volunteers in Camberwell

This is an opportunity to find out more about the individual support and training available for groups and to meet people from other groups in Camberwell, share ideas and explore the opportunities of working together.
